The Loft will leave you feeling close to the sea, from the iconic exposed granite walls to the nautical feel of turquoise blues and tongue and groove panelling. Spread over three floors, the accommodation will sleep six comfortably with one king, one double and one twin bedroom, along with two bathrooms.
The ground floor has a cosy living room with a large corner sofa, TV and DVD/BlueRay player; it’s a great place to relax into the evening. The handy kitchenette on the ground floor will save you going upstairs to make drinks.
Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with tongue and groove panelling and a shower room with electric shower, toilet and basin.
Head up the stairs to the first floor and you’ll find the kitchen, dining area and two further bedrooms. The bright and breezy kitchen is well equipped with all the essentials. Over in the dining area you’ll find a solid wood table that can comfortably seat eight, along with two sash windows with distant sea views.
Also located on the first floor are the double and king bedrooms and the master bathroom which features a large separate shower, bath, toilet and basin.
The final layer of accommodation is the mezzanine level, accessed by steps from the kitchen/dining area. It’s a comfy space with bean bags, games, and a velux window that overlooks St Ives bay.
Outside is a small courtyard with a covered seating area, great for morning coffees or evening drinks. You’ll also find an outside tap for washing sandy toes!
You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches, the renowned Porthminster beach (and highly regarded Porthminster Beach Cafe) are one of the closest beaches to The Loft, no more than a 10 minute walk away. You’re also within walking distance of Porthmeor beach for surfing and Tate, St Ives and Porthgwidden beach is a hidden gem tucked away just behind the Island.
