Dreaming of a Cornish getaway with your dog in tow? You’re in the right place. At Ocean Holidays Cornwall, we know dogs are part of the family, and Cornwall is one of the UK’s most dog-friendly destinations.
From sandy beaches to scenic coastal walks, cosy pubs to cliff-top cafés, you’ll find Cornwall full of places where your four-legged friend is not just accepted, but welcomed with open arms (and usually a biscuit or two!).
🏖️ When Are Dogs Allowed on Beaches in Cornwall? (2025)
The great news is that dogs are allowed on the majority of Cornwall’s beaches for most of the year and even during peak season, many remain fully dog-friendly, or allow dogs before 10am and after 6pm.
Key things to remember:
✅ Dogs are welcome all day, every day on many beaches across the region, even in summer
✅ In areas with seasonal restrictions, your dog can still enjoy the beach before 10am and after 6pm
✅ Early morning and evening walks are quieter, cooler, and just as beautiful, perfect for dogs!
