Apple Retreat is steeped in history, a former apple press for the production of cider back in the 18th century it’s one of the oldest buildings in Paul. This Grade II Listed property is full of character and perfect for couples or small families seeking a peaceful retreat.

Located a short walk from the bustling fishing village of Mousehole, you’ll find Apple Retreat tucked away in Trungle, a lovely part of Paul. There is much to do in walking distance, from regular concerts at Paul church, the friendly Kings Arms pub for a tipple or two or wander down the hill and explore the galleries, harbour, cafes and restaurants of Mousehole, a must for any trip. There are several fantastic walks, country and coastal, that you can explore from your doorstep, feel free to ask for tips and advice.

Accessed via a set of ancient granite steps the accommodation is on the first floor. Enter through a large solid wood door and you’ll find your kitchen dining area with lovely views of the sea and fields. Equipped with electric oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and cooking equipment, you’ll have the basics you need to rustle up meals.

Carry on down the hallway and you’ll find a shower room with WC on the left with an electric shower, a little further down is the generous sitting room with Smart TV including Netflix, comfortable sofa (this can be made up as a sofa bed on request), antique lamps and fitting artworks. There is an open fireplace which is perfect for those cosy evenings in autumn or winter.

The bedroom has a comfortable double bed with crisp white sheets and plenty of storage and hanging space.

Outside you’ll find your own private garden space with an outdoor table, it’s a great little sun trap where you’ll hear the birds singing and the trees swaying.

Apple Retreat has a designated parking space on the drive. Please note to access the property you will be required to walk through a conservatory area that adjoins the main farm house. This is rarely used by the owners besides heading to their laundry room.

With direct access to coastal paths and many scenic walks, this is the perfect bolthole for a relaxing time in Cornwall.
