With Chapel Street a short walk away, you’ll find eclectic independent shops and excellent restaurants. There are lots of places we love to eat and swing by in walking distance so feel free to ask us for personal tips.

Mount View is a terraced house with a front ‘suntrap’ patio including table and chairs. In its South facing position this is a really pleasant place to be.

Head inside and the views get even better. On the ground floor there is the master double bedroom with sea views and built in storage. A twin room that leads into a utility area with a washing machine. You’ll also find the family bathroom with overhead shower, toilet and basin.

On the first floor you’ll find the remainder of the accommodation. There’s often a race to the bay window seats in the lounge, arguably the best spot in the whole house. It’s here you can while away many an hour watching tides come and go, fishing boats heading out on their duties or you might even see the sea whipping up and crashing over the promenade.

There is ample seating for six in the lounge with TV, DVD player and electric fire. The dining area is accessed via an open archway and features a large table with seating for six. The kitchen is nearby to and is equipped with all the essentials such as oven, grill, hob, fridge and freezer as well as a collection of utensils, crockery and cutlery.

Also on the first floor is a further double bedroom with built in storage.

Penzance is a popular base for exploring the wonders of West Cornwall. It has better public transport links than most coastal towns in Cornwall, with a mainline train station and lots of buses (the open top bus is a great way of getting around West Cornwall!). If you are travelling by car the Minack Theatre, Lands End, St Ives and more are all easy to get to from here.
